About me

Hi, I’m Sofía, a biomedical sciences graduate with a growing passion for making science engaging and accessible to everyone. During my studies, I discovered how much I enjoy translating complex science discoveries into stories that spark curiosity and understanding in others. This discovery also led me to start a career in science communication, where I’m now taking my first steps through a traineeship at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL).

Alongside my professional journey, I’m an avid reader, a nature enthusiast, and someone who finds joy and energy in movement and sport. At the heart of everything I do are three guiding values: curiosity, courage, and growth. Whether I’m writing, learning, or exploring the outdoors, I’m always seeking new perspectives and opportunities to connect.
